Good morning, John. It has indeed been a pleasure working with you. Before retiring, I had been working for an accounting firm. At the time, an offer was made (by the accounting firm) to try to recover this money. Supposedly the paperwork had been completed and submitted to the State of Iowa. But nothing ever came of it, and I don’t believe the paperwork was ever really submitted. Anyway, there was no follow up, probably due to the existence of the trust. If it hadn’t been for your persistence, we might still be waiting for this recovery. David, Southeast Iowa
